Auditions

New members are invited to audition during the first two weeks of September, and throughout the year by appointment.

Auditioners will be asked to prepare:

two contrasting scales (major/minor, in two different keys)
a 1 - 2 minute excerpt that best shows your ability -- an etude, the first movement of a sonata or concerto. There will be no accompanist.
You may be asked to sight-read a small orchestra excerpt.
